Microsoft 365 set up, secured, and supported by people who do this every day.

NurvPoint is a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider, so the people who sell your licenses are the same people who secure your tenant and answer the phone when something is off.

What we do with Microsoft 365

From the first license to the last Copilot prompt.

Licensing that fits each role

Business Premium for people who handle email and files, Basic or frontline plans where that is enough, shared mailboxes where no license is needed at all. Adjusted monthly as your team changes, billed on one invoice.

Migration without the mess

From Google Workspace, GoDaddy-resold Microsoft 365, an old Exchange server, or a tenant someone else set up. Mail, calendars, contacts, files, domain, and DNS, cut over after hours.

Security baseline

Multi-factor sign-in, Conditional Access, Defender for Office 365 and Defender for Business, separate admin accounts, audit logging, and data loss prevention basics, set up and documented.

Devices with Intune

Laptops and phones enrolled, encrypted, patched, and compliant before they can reach company data. Lost device? Wipe it remotely. New hire? The laptop sets itself up with Autopilot.

Teams and SharePoint done right

A file structure people can find things in, external sharing you control, Teams that match how your departments work, and retention that satisfies your insurer or regulator.

Backup you control

Microsoft keeps the lights on; it does not give you a restorable backup. We add dedicated Microsoft 365 backup for mail, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams, tested on a schedule.

Copilot readiness

AI is only as safe as your permissions.

Microsoft Copilot answers from whatever a user can already open. In most tenants that includes a surprising amount of oversharing in SharePoint and OneDrive that nobody noticed because nobody searched for it.

Our readiness work finds and fixes that first: sharing links, broad permissions, sensitivity labels, and data protection policies. Then we pilot Copilot with a small group, measure what it actually saves, and expand where it earns its license.

Questions

What Minnesota businesses ask about Microsoft 365.

Which Microsoft 365 plan should a small business choose?

For most small and mid-sized businesses, Microsoft 365 Business Premium is the right plan: it includes the Office apps, Exchange email, Teams, SharePoint, and the security tools (Entra ID P1, Intune, Defender for Business) that Business Standard leaves out. Business Basic or Standard can fit frontline or very low-risk roles. We map plans to roles so you are not paying Premium for a shared mailbox.

Can you migrate us to Microsoft 365 from Google Workspace, GoDaddy, or an old Exchange server?

Yes. We migrate mail, calendars, contacts, and files, move your domain and DNS, cut over outside business hours, and support your team the first week. Migrations from GoDaddy-resold Microsoft 365 into your own tenant are a common project.

What does a Microsoft 365 security baseline include?

Multi-factor authentication for everyone, Conditional Access policies, Defender for Office 365 email protection, Defender for Business on devices, Intune device enrollment and compliance, data loss prevention basics, admin accounts separated from daily accounts, and audit logging turned on and retained.

Does Microsoft back up our Microsoft 365 data?

Microsoft keeps the service running and offers limited retention, but it is not a backup you control. We add a dedicated Microsoft 365 backup for mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams so a deleted file, a departed employee's mailbox, or a ransomware event can be restored on your terms.

Is Microsoft Copilot worth it for a small business?

For people who live in email, documents, and meetings, often yes, but only after permissions are cleaned up. Copilot surfaces whatever a user can already access, so oversharing in SharePoint and OneDrive becomes visible fast. We run a readiness review, fix sharing, pilot with a small group, and then expand.

Can we buy Microsoft 365 licenses from NurvPoint instead of Microsoft directly?

Yes. NurvPoint is a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider. Licenses are billed with your IT services on one invoice, can be adjusted monthly as people join and leave, and come with support from the people who already manage your tenant.
